Wetting a Line

After a month of generally below freezing temps, this week warmed up, and Saturday broke in the high-50s. I determined to hit a stream.

By the time I finished buying the 2007 license online, switching my gear to a new fishing pack, packing the duffel, and generally fulfilling family obligations, it was afternoon. Hit the closest stream to my house...a TP stream in central Hunterdon. Probably not the best in terms of temp. Lovely water, but a bit cold. More so as the sun, which had been shining all morning, took to hiding behind clouds spitting down a cold drizzle.

No action. But no matter...another season beckons. The first wet line of the year!
