Dry Flies

Hit my favorite stream around 1 PM this afternoon.  The fish in the photo hit my little elk hair caddis... which it took for an early stone fly, on about my fourth cast.  Took about 10 fish out of the first run.  This was the first, and one of only two brown trout.

Saw a fair number of fish rising to naturals, and lots of stone flies.  I only fished a couple of hours, but had pretty much constant action.

Early season fishing at its best!
